Step 1 Make the Brine

In a large pot, combine 1 gallon of water with the salt, sugar, and aromatics, or any recipe you like. Bring to a simmer until salt and sugar dissolve. Cool completely.

Step 2 Fill Brining Bag with Brine

Place a brining bag in a roasting pan or a large container(i.e., cooler, brine bucket, etc.) for support because a turkey with a few gallons brine is extremely heavy. Fold the top of the bag down. Add this base from step 1 to your brining bag, then add additional cold water (or ice)

NOTES:
Do not put your turkey in a warm brine solution!

Step 3 Submerge Turkey and Seal Brining Bag

Place the cleaned, thawed turkey in the brine. Make sure it's fully submerged. Weigh it down if needed. Remove the excess air, and secure the bag with the included reusable zip ties tightly.

NOTES:
Do not cut the zip tie end off.

Step 4 Refrigerate or Chill

Brine in the fridge or a cooler with ice for about 1 hour per pound of turkey. Ensure that it stays below 40°F (4°C) to make sure your turkey stay as safe as possible.

Step 5 Rinse and Dry

After brining, rinse the turkey inside and out. Pat it very dry with paper towels and let it air-dry in the fridge (uncovered) for 8–12 hours if you want crispier skin.

WARNING:
DO NOT USE BRINE BAGS AND ZIP TIES FOR ROASTING. NOT OVEN-SAFE.

Step 1 Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)

WARNING:
THIS OVEN BAG IS FOR USE IN CONVENTIONAL OR MICROWAVE OVENS ONLY.
DO NOT USE THIS OVEN BAG ON GRILL OR OPEN FIRE.

Step 2 Prepare Oven Bag

Place a bag in a roasting pan, making sure it overlaps the edges.

Add 1 tablespoon of flour into the oven bag and shake well to coat the inside. (This prevents the bag from bursting and helps blend juices for gravy.)

If desired, place chopped onions, carrots, and celery inside the bag for flavor.

Step 3 Place Turkey in Bag and Vent the Bag

Truss the brined turkey with the included cooking twine if you'd like.

Tuck butter or your favorite butter mix under the skin and all over the outside.

Put the brined turkey breast-side up inside the bag. Secure it with the provided red tie.

Cut 6 small ½-inch slits in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.

Step 4 Roast Turkey

Place the roasting pan in the oven. Follow your oven instructions for exact cook times by weight.

Pro Tips:
If you want to get crispy edges, cook 75% in the bag, then cut open the top - carefully slice the bag open for the last 20-30 minutes.

Step 5 Rest the Turkey

Carefully remove the turkey from the oven. Cut open the bag away from you (steam is hot!).

Let the turkey rest 20–30 minutes before carving. This locks in juices.

Pro Tips:
- Always use a meat thermometer to verify doneness. Safe internal temperatures for
Turkey/Chicken: 165°F(74°C) in breast.
- Don't remove the bag completely until you've confirmed doneness.
- If your meat isn't done yet, don't remove the bag - simply return it to the oven for additional time.
